The main way in

The digital once-over.

A fixed-fee look at your website, tools and tech spend, and a plain-English list of what is worth doing about it.

What it is

Most owners know something in their setup is not right. The website brings in nothing, the subscriptions have crept up, the admin never ends. But they do not know what to fix first, or what it should cost. The once-over sorts that out.

I spend time going through your website, your tools and subscriptions, and the way work actually flows through your business. Then I give you a short, jargon-free report: what is working, what is leaking time or money, what is worth doing, and roughly what each piece would cost. You own it. There is no obligation to do any of it with me.

What you get

Five things, written down.

  • A plain-English review of your website, tools and tech spend
  • The two or three changes that would make the biggest difference
  • Rough costs for each, so you can decide what is worth it
  • Quick wins you can do yourself, called out separately
  • A short call to walk through it all

What it costs

£750, fixed, with nothing else to pay: a day going through the lot, the report, and a call to walk you through it. It is not a voucher against later work and it does not come off anything, because it is a piece of work in its own right. Taking none of it further is a perfectly normal outcome and the report is yours either way.

Who it is for

Smaller Jersey and Guernsey businesses who know they should sort their tech out but do not want to spend a fortune finding out how. If that is you, this is the easiest place to start.

Common questions

What is a digital once-over?

What does a digital once-over cost?

£750, fixed, with nothing else to pay. That is a day of going through your setup, the written report at the end of it, and a call to walk you through it. It does not come off any work you have done afterwards, on purpose: it is a piece of work you have bought and own rather than a voucher against something else, and deciding to do none of it, or all of it yourself, is a perfectly normal outcome.

Is the once-over how ongoing support starts?

Usually, yes. Keeping an eye on whether your systems are still talking to each other means knowing what you have, what is joined to what, where the backups go and which renewals are coming, and the once-over is where that gets worked out and written down. If I have already built enough of your setup to know it properly, you do not need one. The document is yours either way and stays useful to whoever looks after this next, including if that is not me.

Am I committing to anything?

No. You own the report and there is no obligation to do any of it with me. If you decide to take something further, that is a separate, optional conversation.

How long does it take, and what if my business is bigger than most?

It starts with a conversation, a coffee in town or a quick call. From there it is a day going through your setup, then the written review and a short call to walk through it. That day is what the fixed fee assumes. If it is clear from the first conversation that your setup needs more than a day, I will say so before you commit and quote it properly, rather than doing half a job for the headline price.

Ready when you are.

Tell me roughly what is going on and I will come back to you. A coffee in town or a quick call, whichever works.
